Down the Drain

I'm back after a brief hiatus. As my last post indicated, it was a busy couple of weeks with my sports teams. Let's take a brief tally of how well they did:

Phillies lose World Series to Yankees 4 games to 2.
UGA gets blown out (again) by Florida
Eagles beat Giants, but then lose the next week to Dallas at home.

In a word, ugh.

Got to enjoy the day off today, and knocked out a few items on the to do list. One such item was having someone fix our leaking upstairs toliet. No, it wasn't leaking as bad as Troy found out in this scene from The Goonies , but it was at the point where someone should look at it.

Since we didn't know of any plumbers off hand, I went to Google and picked AFM Plumbers of Roswell, GA. They did a great job, and were priced fairly I thought. The two guys fixed the toliet in about 30 minutes, and then asked if there was anywhere else they wanted me to have the check since I had paid for the hour. I got them to declog a sink in our bathroom, and got some insight about our water heater (which luckily does not need to be replaced yet, but they provided some helpful tips as to what to look for when it's about to go).

I give them a big thumbs up and would recommend them to anyone reading in the area in need of a plumber.
